A piece of local history, with a terrace above the Danube

We carry the name of Đorđe Stanisavljev, known as Bata Pežo — a nickname earned with a Peugeot 203 bought in 1960. He kept kafanas from 1965 on, hosting, by his own count, over five million guests; Andrić, Ćopić and Crnjanski sat at his table.

The restaurant bearing his name has worked at Kamenjar for twenty-six years. Since autumn 2024 it is run by the Đukić family — Danilo as owner and Anastasija as manager: the interior refreshed, the spirit of tradition kept, and the fish still arriving exclusively from local fishermen.
